Vulcan recognizes that suppliers play a key role in our continued success. Each year the construction materials group spends well over $1 billion on goods and services to operate our businesses. Our strategy is simple.

Identify and select world class suppliers; Continually work with them to remove inefficiencies and lower costs; Provide continual feedback; and, Recognize excellence.

We expect a lot from our suppliers. We expect them to consistently offer the best mix of quality, price and service in the industry. In return, we see ourselves as offering stable demand, prompt payment, and the ability to work with many of the industry’s best people.
